Adult Individuals

Let this time be just for you. Maybe you’re feeling isolated, anxious or overwhelmed. It might be hard to find even a moment in your day that feels like it’s for yourself and your own needs. Life can be difficult, and we might feel stuck in our grief, anxiety, sadness, fear, uncertainty or any other number of feelings and swirls of thoughts. We can work together to get a sense of your goals and what areas you’d like to focus on, and we will create a brave space where you can process and unpack whatever is going on and gain the skills and tools you need to cope. I often work with adults who are navigating issues related to:

  • pregnancy, prenatal or postpartum mental health and postpartum recovery

  • grief and loss

  • anxiety or depression

  • healing from trauma

  • communication or behaviors in relationships

  • career transitions or stage of life changes

You’re allowed to take this time to care for yourself, to become more connected with what you need and want and to make those changes you’ve been thinking about.

Teens

Are you tired of people who just don’t get it? Whether it’s parents, teachers, siblings, friends or other people in your life, it sucks to feel like you’re stuck in their world with their rules. Let our time together be something where you can share and talk about whatever is going on with you, without being graded, judged or told what you should or should not do.

Some of the things we can talk about are:

  • building self-esteem and confidence

  • improving your relationship with your parents

  • navigating friendships, bullying and social media

  • curiosity about sex, relationships and identity

  • frustration with homework and school

  • coping with feeling anxious or depressed

You might be feeling misunderstood, stressed, lonely, worried about the future, frustrated with changing moods, questioning your identity, wondering where your confidence is, arguing with friends or dealing with issues in your relationships. I believe you can get through it, so let’s talk so you can manage all those feelings and get some support in figuring it all out.

Couples and Relationships

Couples, partners, families, chosen families, friends, colleagues, non-traditional relationships (polyamorous, open, diverse expressions of gender or sexuality). These are all types of relationships that I work with, and being in relationship with others is complicated. You may be looking for some help with communication, understanding, trust and connection. My clients in relationships might be:

  • in a new relationship or transition stage, such as premarital

  • in a long-term relationship, navigating changes in sex, intimacy, betrayal, parenting or break-up

  • new parents, parents-to-be or in some stage of the parenting process

  • dealing with the impact of loss or significant crises

Whatever is going on in your relationship, it’s not too late to deepen your connection, rebuild trust, find healthy ways to communicate and heal so you can move forward.
